The device is capable of performing line-rate capture to disk on both ports simultaneously. It also operates as ultra-low latency network adapter and ships with a userspace networking API for low latency packet manipulation, and an in-place sockets acceleration library to accelerate unmodified applications.

All ExaLINK Fusion switches can be extended with a built-in x86 CPU module, providing high-rate capture capabilities directly inside the switch. The module features a quad core Intel i7 Skylake processor with turbo boost up to 3.5Ghz, two mSata bays and one m.2 drive bay with capacity for up to 2TB of SSD based storage. The module also features a complete ExaNIC X40 network adapter on board for 8x 1/10G or 2x 40G network capabilities.

ExaLINK switches from Exablaze are the lowest latency network switches on the market. The devices include a high density layer 1 (L1) matrix switching, ultra-low latency aggregation, and complete layer 2 (L2) switching. A switch form factor FPGA application platform is also available.
